North American Occupational Safety and Health (NAOSH) Week

The goal of North American Occupational Safety and Health (NAOSH) Week is to focus employers, employees, partners, and the public on the importance of preventing injury and illness in the workplace, at home and in the community.

At Trace, we believe that mentally and physically healthy workers are happier, more productive, and less likely to be injured on the job. We want to make sure everyone at Trace is able to do the things they enjoy, both at home and at work.

Balance is a core value at Trace, and this goes beyond work-life balance. We also believe that we need to have fun at work. “The opposite of play is not work – the opposite of play is depression”. Brian Sutton-Smith

Maintenance of both mental and physical health has been challenging for everyone over the last year. This year for NAOSH Week, Trace has developed a Health and Wellness challenge to encourage our employees to partake in both mental and physical wellness activities, all while having some fun competition between divisions and giving back to our communities.

Trace will donate a total of $5,000 to be split among charities of each divisions choosing. The money will be split between divisions, depending on the number of points each division earns, by becoming physically and mentally active. The more points a division earns, the bigger piece of the pot they get to donate. To make it easy to participate, we have developed an app, where employees can track their activities, points earned, and can view the totals between divisions.
