The Opportunity
- We are looking for an intermediate level Engineer who is passionate about creating positive change and wants to join a company that values its employees.
Responsibilities
- Working collaboratively with Senior Project Managers and Principal Engineers, support office and field activities in the successful completion of projects in the practice areas of Remediation & Risk and Environmental Engineering.
- Preparing technical reports, presentations, and proposals for clients.
- Preparing for and participating in meetings with clients, legal counsel, regulatory agency personnel, and other parties.
- Job may also include out-of-town travel and fieldwork including collection of samples, site visits, drilling, and remedial contractor and/or construction oversight.
About You and Your Qualifications
- Four years plus of experience in consulting engineering.
- Professional Engineer or Geoscientist or candidate for designation in the Province of Ontario.
- Knowledge of current environmental regulations in Ontario with a focus on the Excess Soil regulation.
- Knowledge and experience in the areas of hydrogeology, contaminant migration, environmental site assessment, and remediation.
- Experience in risk assessment in accordance with Ontario Regulations would be considered an asset.
- Candidates must have a valid G Class driver’s licence and access to a vehicle for work-related travel.
