The Opportunity

  • We are looking for an Environmental Engineer or Geoscientist who is passionate about creating positive change and wants to join a company that values its employees.

Responsibilities

  • Work to support field programs within the real estate, remediation, and risk assessment practice areas.
  • Provide technical expertise and mentorship to junior team members.
  • Management of due diligence, assessment and remediation projects.
  • Report and present results to clients and regulators.
  • Conduct office tasks including developing work plans and cost estimates, completing data analysis and review, and preparing technical reports.
  • Participate in business development initiatives within Eastern Ontario market segment.

About You and Your Qualifications

  • An enthusiastic and positive attitude, with an ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Registered with Professional Engineers of Ontario (PEO) as P.Eng. in good standing or with Professional Geoscientists Ontario (PGO) as P.Geo. in good standing.
  • Five or more years of field and office experience working in real estate, remediation, or risk assessment practice areas is preferred.
  • Experienced in safely leading groundwater monitoring programs, environmental drilling programs, and small-and large-scale remediation projects.
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain client relationships across government, private, and industrial sectors.
  • Experience in identifying new business opportunities and contributing to proposals and bids.
  • Knowledge of Ontario environmental regulations, policies, and guidelines.

Salary Range

  • $75,000 to $125,000 per year.
