The Opportunity
- We are looking for an Intermediate Environmental Scientist or Engineer who wants to make a difference with a company that cares about its people.
Responsibilities
- Lead and actively participate in field programs within the remediation practice area; however, experience within the reclamation and natural science practice areas are considered an asset.
- Management of assessment and remediation projects, subcontractors, project budgets.
- Report and present results to clients and regulators.
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and technical support to junior professionals.
- Build strong relationships with clients, suppliers, landowners/stakeholders, and regulators.
- Be a part of a team that develops new business.
About You and Your Qualifications
- Graduated from a college or university with a diploma or degree in sciences or engineering with an environmental focus. Eligible for an existing professional designation from BCIA, EGBC, CAB, or equivalent within British Columbia.
- Have 5-10 years of field and office experience working in assessment and remediation practice areas.
- Experienced in safely leading environmental drilling programs, small- and large-scale remediation, and emergency spill response projects.
- Knowledge of contaminated sites legislation, environmental regulations, policies, and permit processes.
- Can safely operate vehicles and have a valid class 5 driver’s licence.
- You are positive, humble, caring, genuine, and trustworthy.
- You embrace being a key member of integrated and interdisciplinary teams and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- An enthusiastic and positive attitude, ability to manage multiple priorities, and a passion for consistently delivering outstanding work.
- This position is eligible for overtime, therefore, we are looking for flexible people, as there are times where extended hours and travel away from home are required.

Salary Range
- $65,000 – $80,000 annually depending on experience.
