Responsibilities

  • Lead and actively participate in field programs within the remediation practice area.
  • Management of assessment and remediation projects, subcontractors, project budgets.
  • Report and present results to clients and regulators.
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and technical support to junior professionals.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, suppliers, landowners/stakeholders, and regulators.
  • Be a part of a team that develops new business.

Qualifications

  • Graduated from college or university with a diploma or degree in sciences or engineering with an environmental focus. Professional designation (P.Ag., P.Biol., P.Eng. or equivalent).
  • Experienced in safely leading environmental drilling programs, small- and large-scale remediation, and emergency spill response projects.
  • Knowledge of contaminated sites legislation, environmental regulations, policies, and permit application processes.
  • 5 to 10 years remediation experience; experience within the reclamation and natural science practice areas are considered an asset.
  • Can safely operate vehicles and has a valid class 5 driver’s licence.
