The Opportunity
- You will gain exposure to all areas of marketing at Trace. You will report to our Director of Strategy and Business Development (based out of Calgary).
Responsibilities
- Support the Director of Strategy and Business Development in delivering marketing initiatives, including marketing strategy, promotional material, and content.
- Prepare social media content and timeline for review, engaging with relevant Trace subject matter experts for input as required. Posts will cover topics such as key Trace speaking engagements and conference participation, strategic hires, key calendar dates, recruitment events, and more.
- Coordinate, review, and send blog material and website edits for final review.
- Provide logistic and coordination support for Trace’s attendance at industry and professional association conferences and events. Ensure the availability of the Trace booth and promotional material at each conference; coordinate conference preparation and debrief meetings; assist with conference registration and travel bookings, etc.
- Assist with the collection, storage, and reporting of market intelligence, gathered from various internal and external sources.
- Ensure Trace brand standards are upheld in the development and posting of all external marketing and presentation materials.

About You and Your Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills and a sense of digital style
- Working knowledge of Adobe InDesign and WordPress programs.
- Backend knowledge of WordPress (for content updates, posting blogs, adding/updating events, etc.).
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is an asset (not required).
- Passion for marketing and public relations.
- Excellent attention to detail, and ability to manage and prioritize multiple activities and
priorities simultaneously. - Enrolled in or recently completed a post-secondary Marketing or Communications program.
- Creative thinker with a passion for marketing and communication.
- Sound judgement, socially aware, respectful, and professional.
- You are positive, humble, caring, genuine, and trustworthy.
