The Opportunity

  • We are looking for an organizational resilience (e.g., Business Continuity, Emergency Management, IT Disaster Recovery, Crisis Management, Health & Safety, or Enterprise Risk) student (4-month term) as part of our annual student recruiting program.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Organizational Resilience team by conducting interviews with business, technical, and field staff to gather insights and information.
  • Take clear and accurate notes during meetings, interviews, and training exercises.
  • Provide administrative support, including assisting with proposal development and drafting responses to RFPs.
  • Support the planning, execution, and follow-up of exercises (tabletop, simulation, etc.).
  • Collect, organize, and analyze data to support risk assessments and continuity planning.
  • Assist in the development of recovery strategies and mitigation plans.
  • Help update and maintain response plans, procedures, and related documentation.

About You and Your Qualifications

  • Enrolled in or recently graduated from a college or university degree program related to organization resilience (e.g., Business Continuity, Emergency Management, IT Disaster Recovery, Crisis Management, Health & Safety, or Enterprise Risk).
  • Health, safety, and wellness are critical to you.
  • You are proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with confidence presenting to various audiences, including leadership.
  • Demonstrate sound business judgment and an understanding of organizational operations.
  • Organized, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
  • Professional, dependable, and take pride in producing high-quality work.
  • Have an enthusiastic and positive attitude.
