The Opportunity

  • Join our Co-founders and Senior Leadership Team in a key new position where you will be relied upon for your financial insights to help drive business decisions to help achieve our vision.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Financial Planning: Develop and implement financial strategies to achieve our vision.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a highly engaged and valued finance team.
  • Financial Reporting: Oversee accurate and compliant financial statement and report preparation.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial risks to protect Trace.
  • Budgeting/Forecasting: Oversee budgeting and financial forecasting to guide decision-making.
  • Compliance: Ensure the company adheres to financial regulations and standards.
  • Asset and Investment Management: Manage our financial assets and oversee investment strategies, including our fleet and commercial real estate portfolio.

About You and Your Qualifications

  • Experience reporting to a President and CEO or Chief Operating Officer.
  • You are a CPA or CA and will be the most senior financial person in our company.
  • 15+ years of Canadian regulatory experience with at least 5 in a VP Finance role or equivalent.
  • You have M&A experience.
  • You think strategically, are an excellent communicator, a motivating leader, creative, have great attention to detail, and are well-respected in your profession.
