Trace Website Accessibility Icon

Have you noticed the new accessibility icon on our website?

Icon for Trace Userway

Our Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Team is currently working on our Accessibility Policy and accessibility initiatives. They’ve been providing recommendations on ways to ensure everyone can easily access our resources, including our website. For folks with vision and reading disabilities, it can be a frustrating experience when the website you’re using is difficult to read or comprehend.

This week we’ve installed the UserWay accessibility icon so that users can customize the website to accommodate your needs. Want a brighter contrast? Looking for larger text? Need it to be dyslexia friendly? We’ve got you covered. With the UserWay icon you can adjust the screen to best suit you. Try it out, and let us know what you think.

In the next 18 months we will be reviewing our tools and spaces to make sure we’re doing our part to make the world a more equitable place.

Our DEI team includes: Michelle Heffernan, Kelly Lohnes,  Armaan Gill, Marilyn Germain, Lois Miller,  Natasha Gilfoy, and Brett Jones. Thank you for helping make Trace a more inclusive place to work!
