2017 Alberta Institute of Agrology Awards

Calgary, Alberta – Mr. Darrell Haight, President and CEO of Trace Associates Inc. (Trace) is pleased to announce that Ms. Esther Vonkeman-Roset and Mr. Kirk Elliott are the 2017 Alberta Institute of Agrologists (AIA) award recipients of the Outstanding Young Agrologist Award and Outstanding Young Technologist in Agrology Award, respectively.

Ms. Vonkeman-Roset, based in our Lethbridge office, is an Environmental Scientist, specializing in remediation, reclamation, and soil classification programs. Esther is a member of the AIA Lethbridge Branch and is the former Secretary and Vice-President of the Lethbridge Branch. Esther also guest lectures at the Lethbridge College, teaching 2010 Reclamation Criteria implementation.

Mr. Elliott, based in our Didsbury office, is an Environmental Scientist and Partner at Trace. Kirk leads several of Trace’s large upstream oil and gas environmental programs and specializes in reclamation and vegetation management. Kirk is a coach and mentor for several of Trace’s junior scientists and has become a benchmark for top performers at Trace.
